I have served on the Coalition Board since 1999 and for the past 3 years as Newsletter Editor.
My first bike was purple and had white streamers on the bar ends that bounced merrily in the wind as I pedaled. I began self-contained bike touring in 1983, but now I just carry a credit card and hotel reservations.
I’ve bike toured in Switzerland, France, Italy, Austria, Germany and the Chech Republic. Happily retired for the past 7 years, I’m thrilled to have the time to advocate when I can for better, safer bike facilities, and to spread the word about the Coalition’s work through our newsletter.
